Delete my account

From the app (fastest)

Settings → Account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. You'll be asked to type the word « supprimer » to confirm, so it can't happen by accident.

Without the app

If you no longer have access to the app — lost phone, new device, uninstalled — email contact@poddz.app from your account's email address. We process requests within 30 days. If you write from a different address, we'll ask you to confirm your identity: without that check, anyone could have someone else's account deleted.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials • Your profile: username, profile picture • Your photos and the associated files • Your comments and likes • Your group memberships • Your preferences and notifications

What remains, and why

Groups you created are not deleted: they also belong to their other members, whose photos would otherwise become unreachable. Administration is transferred to another member. Photos posted by other people remain theirs, including in groups you had created. Some data may be kept for as long as the law requires (accounting obligations, responding to a legal request). It is used for nothing else.

It is permanent

Deletion cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no bin: your photos are not recoverable, even if you write to us the next day. Save whatever you want to keep BEFORE deleting — every photo can be downloaded from the app.
